Negative: We were staying there from the 1st of November until the 4th, we both got infected with bedbugs.. so disgusting!! We now have a lot of itchy spots! The closet only had two hook and one of them were broken, the quilt and pillows were very thin and the window couldn’t close properly, wind came into the room so it got really chilly during night

Positive: Location, close to metro, railways, bus King Cross station and St.Pancras international, of course and British library. Very good

Positive: Close to King's Cross & St Pancras station. Self. check in with codes. Many flights of steep narrow stairs, no not for everyone. Very ordinary tiny room.
Paper thin walls meant that I could practically hear the people next door breathing. I certainly heard every word of their many overnight phone conversations. There's an over bath shower that's hard to step into as the bath side is quite high if you're not very tall. Ok for a quick overnight between train trips. Nothing special.

Mmm. Not sure about this one
Positive: Located on grays inn road was ace. Short walk from King’s Cross
Negative: Essentially this was a room in a shared flat. It was hot (as London is) so the only way to cool down was to open the window. However this let the sounds of Grays inn road through the window.
There was also a fridge in the room. Useful, but I’d rather not have a family size fridge in return for a quiet nights sleep.
The bathroom way pretty grotty too

Poor Experience – Booked for 7 People, Split into Different Flats!
Positive: The location was decent and close to key transport links, which is about the only positive thing I can say.
Negative: We booked 3 rooms for a group of 7 people (including children), expecting to be accommodated in the same flat. Instead, we arrived to discover the rooms were spread across different flats — something we were never informed about during booking.
To make matters worse, two of the rooms had exposed electrical wires sticking out of the walls, right next to the beds. This is a blatant health and safety risk, especially with kids involved.
When we raised our concerns, the host was dismissive, offered no solution, and refused a refund. We were also made to share a kitchen with strangers and jump between flats just to stay together as a family.
This stay was uncomfortable, unsafe, and completely misrepresented. I’ll be filing a formal complaint with Booking.com, as this property should not be listed without proper safety checks and clear communication around room arrangements.
