Private Room in Central London

Despite the difficulties I mentioned, the stay was very succesful and pleasant. I will come again! Positive: The location is splendid. The price is pretty good, given the location. The place is very clean. Kitchen and bathroom facilities excellent. The bed was very comfortable. Negative: I stayed two nights. The first night it was very noisy. Between 10 and 12 there were people washing clothes and playing music in the kitchen, and I badly needed to go to bed early. The other problem was finding the place. It turned out that there are four blocks of flats forming a whole estate over what used to be an ordinary street. One had to get into the estate at the first one (nearest to Kings Cross), then walk down to the third, get into the building, then get to the flat on the third floor, then get into the room. That's four key-codes. A map would have been useful. Especially since the buildings were being renovated (scaffolding and plastic sheeting) so you couldn't see the names of the flats.

Positive: Close to the st. Pancras Negative: Dingy and difficult to get into the estate.

Sleep in a construction site Positive: Good location close to Kings Cross and St Pancras stations. Once the workmen left, it was a very quiet location. Negative: It was a construction site with workmen in fluoro everywhere including outside the bedroom window at 8am. Lots of mould and rust in the shower over the bath. Small room that only just fitted a double bed. There were no staff so not possible to rate them.

Positive: Nothing. Negative: The room was nothing like advertised, dingy dirty. Unhealthy
